At this point, I've spent about 19 years in school. Wow, that sounds like a lot and well maybe it is. School is the first environment outside the home that some of us are exposed to. School coupled with church for those who go to church are the two main places outside the home that we learnt to socialize with others. This isn't going to be a sweet, memory lane blog. Jamaica, Jamaica, Jamaica, land we love..... Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica on October 28, 2025. A category five hurricane that will be remembered for decades. I never expected this to be honest. I mean we’ve had hurricanes but none like this before.  Crazy winds and Jamaica’s livelihood lost is how I would describe it. Homes lost, no food and no water for some residents on the western side of Jamaica. I just want to thank God that he brought my family and I through it safely.
