God’s Grace is Sufficient -Hurricane Melissa

Jamaica, Jamaica, Jamaica, land we love.....

Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica on October 28, 2025. A category five hurricane that will be remembered for decades. I never expected this to be honest. I mean we’ve had hurricanes but none like this before.

 Crazy winds and Jamaica’s livelihood lost is how I would describe it. Homes lost, no food and no water for some residents on the western side of Jamaica. I just want to thank God that he brought my family and I through it safely. I pray that God will restore everything that was lost- double. God is a good God and he is always merciful and always sufficient.

In times like this we have to remember what God says in Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I think towards you saith the lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." His grace is always sufficient. Never give up. Just keep on holding on to the word of God because it is the only truth an it is the only thing that matters.

We have to help Jamaica get back on its feet. Helping looks like donating, volunteering and even just praying.

Oh Lord, I thank you,

I thank you for your grace,

And I thank you for your mercy,

I ask for a renewal of our mind,

A renewal of our spirits,

And a renewable of my peace,

I declare increase and not decrease,

I am the head and not the tail,

Lord it is well. Amen
