Paper 2's are over. Now what! Are you wondering how you are doing to prepare for your paper 1 exams? The number one preparation strategy is utilizing past papers. CXC has the reputation of repeating past papers every year. On Youtube, you can find different teachers who have answered various years of past papers. You can use this to prepare for your CXC exams, but........there's a catch. CXC won't just repeat the questions from the previous year. They won't just copy and paste on all the questions from last year onto this year. So here is what you have to do. You will have to utilize multiple years of past papers. Minimum five years but I would recommend ten years worth of past papers for a subject.....if you can find them. This increases your chances of seeing the question before and in the exam knowing the answer.
While watching these past paper videos, ensure that you are paying attention to the answers that the teachers are selecting because that is very important in the exam. Don't just pay attention to the letters chosen but pay attention to the actual answers. That is what will guarantee your success in the exam. Ensure that you have H2B pencils for your exam since you will be shading on a bubble sheet. Ensure that you get enough sleep, eat breakfast/lunch and bring water into the exam in case you need it. Pray and good luck.
